Oconee Community Theatre will be holding auditions for their November 2025 production of Annie. Rehearsals begin at OCT on August 18th, 2025 and the show will run November 7-8 & 14-16 2025. Auditions will be held at Oconee Community Theatre: 8001 Utica St, Seneca, SC 29678. For the auditions, prepare to sing first, but be prepared to stay and move. Performers may sing from the show, but they must also have another show-appropriate song prepared. Bring headshots and resume stapled together, if available. Performers of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
For leads, seeking:
Adult Male for the role of Oliver Warbucks: Actor-singer, baritone, bald, willing to shave head, or wear a bald cap, self-made billionaire businessman, looks 40-50 years old, a steamroller, yet a softie underneath.
Adult Female for the role of Grace Farrell: actress-singer, belt with mix into soprano, looks about 30 years of age, attractive, smart, a sweetheart.
Adult Female for the role of Miss Hannigan: character actress-singer, alto belt, must move, looks 35-40 years old, comical tyrant, runs orphanage and hates little girls.
Adult Female for the role of Lily St. Regis: actress-singer-dancer, high chest belt, ditzy, cute, comic, Rooster’s girlfriend.
Adult Male for the role of Rooster Hannigan: actor-singer-dancer, high baritone/tenor, looks 30 years old, slick, sleazy, comic con man.
Adult Male for the role of FDR: forceful, wheelchair-bound President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, looks 40s-50s, vocal impersonation required.
Children for the roles of the six main orphans (Molly, Kate, Tessie, Pepper, Duffy, and July): ages 6-12

Smaller roles and understudies for principals will be chosen among the ensemble.
For ensemble, seeking:
Men: adult singer-actors who move well, will understudy leads and play supporting parts, including Bert Healy.
Women: adult singer-actresses who move well, will understudy leads and play supporting parts including “Star to Be,” Mrs. Pugh, and Boylan Sisters, all need chest belt.
Ensemble members may understudy the following roles: Oliver Warbucks, Grace Farrell, Miss Hannigan, Lily St. Regis, Rooster Hannigan, FDR.
Children’s Theatre: 20+ child actors for additional orphans.
